Rolling chassis.
This may be from the original 2CV or Dyane doner. Alternativley a tubular lightweight unit can be made using our
CHASSIS DRAWING INFO PACK. |

Body frame.
A simple lightweight unit constructed from 40x20 & 20x20x1,5 ERW tube.
Build it using our;
BODY FRAME DRAWING INFO. |

| Body panelling and floors are made up using exterior grade ply. The side panels are laminated from 3 layers of 10mm if doors are required, or 2 layers with deeper arm recesses and no doors. |

The doors and lightening voids are then cut out and all wood treated with clear preservative.

| The body is then clad in 1.2mm aluminium sheet. This is not as difficult as it sounds. Only basic DIY tools are needed although a powered knibbler will make cutting the aluminium sheet to shape very easy. |

If you are carefull with the aluminium sheet the body can be simply polished or, etch primed and painted.
The cylce wings can be made in aluminium to our drawings or simple plasic items may be fitted. |
