Making work holding devices for automatic pattern sewing machines can be an extremely time consuming task, especially when required for shoe production. This machine attachment converts a Brother BAS 300 F type pattern sewing machine into a CNC milling machine. Capable of cutting up to a 6mm wide slot in 3mm thick glass fibre sheet. Using this system, work cassettes can be cut using the sewing programme pattern thereby eliminating hand marking and filing.
Cutting and finishing this shape by hand would take arround an hour. Just 1 style of shoe may need 20 or more cassettes for each size. This would mean many hours work. This attachment can cut this shape in minutes.
