Attaching typical decoration components to the sides of sport shoes can take around 1 minute using a post bed machine and requires considerable skill and dexterity. This system developed to fit to an automatic pattern sewing machine when used in tandem can do the same job in 15 seconds.
Additional features include the ability to adjust for different tape widths and spacing. Individual tape clamps hold each tape equally, even when the shoe side panel has varying thicknesses. The tape or shape holding clamps fully retract out of the sewing area to enable easy loading. The clamp fingers are easily modifiable to handle various shapes. The unit is design to fit to a Brother BAS-326G machine.
The system can be asembled in either left or right operation. 1 Operator can handle 2 machines in a left/right tandem setup.
