Various Automatic Machine Attachments
|
| Here are just a small selection of machine attachments and modifications. |
Bartack Air Conversion Attaching a small label or hook & loop patch is very time consuming as the item or garment onto which the patch in being attached must be turned 4 times. The bulk of the item must be pushed through the arm of the machine. Using a programmable pattern sewing machine will solve these problems but at considerable cost
The cost of automating the operation can be reduced by using a programmable bartacking machine. Here a standard electronic bartacking machine has been fitted with split air clamping and a flip-flop label clamp conversion.

Eyelet Punch and Sew When sewing an eyelet it is first necessary to punch a hole through the fabric. It is then very difficult to exactly align the hole with the centre of the sewing pattern.
The machine shown here has been fitted with an automatic punching device. The item to be sewn is loaded under the sewing clamp in the normal way. The machine attachment then punches the hole before moving the clamp to the sewing position where the stitching is done perfectly around (or through) the hole.
This unit requires no extra space and therefore it is easily possible to mount two machine heads on a single table, doubling production as well as eliminating the punching process.

Button Sew Through the Buttonhole When attaching a button to trouser hip pockets or sports shirt placket or boxer shots fly. First the button positions must be marked. Second the pocket or fly must be opened. Third the button is attached and finally the button must be fastened.
This attachment to a button sewing machine actually sews the button on THROUGH the buttonhole, thereby eliminating 3 operations; marking, opening and fastening.
Here a trouser hip button has been attached through the buttonhole.
