Assembling trousers is a skilled operation taking many months to perfect. Controlling the edges down the length of the garment while achieving minimal fabric trimming is an acquired skill.
This simple machine takes care of these problems by automatically feeding and guiding the fabric edges at maximum sewing speed. In addition the trouser panels are finally stacked into a neat bundle. The unit automatically guides the end of the seam leaving the operator free to pick the next work piece.
Taking up little floor space yet producing accurate seams at full speed with minimal operator training. The edge guide system built into the machine table was developed and patented by H.J.Smith.
